VNBA invites members to attend online workshop on effective AI governance

On March 27, 2025, the Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA) will coordinate with PwC Vietnam to organize an online workshop "Effective AI Governance in the Banking and Finance sector", to provide information and discuss with experts on how to safely manage AI. We respectfully invite mmber organizations to send staff to attend.

According to the survey, the use of AI helps increase revenue and improve employee performance. However, it is necessary to strictly control the development, training and application of AI to avoid negative impacts on the environment and society, as well as risks from biased feedback, lack of equality, uncensored content or misinformation.

In the context of strong global digital transformation, advances in AI infrastructure and the continuous emergence of new AI models make AI application a top concern. In order to promote the power of AI and manage risks, organizations need to practice responsible AI. Therefore, VNBA has coordinated with PwC Vietnam to organize an online workshop on how to safely manage AI.

Accordingly, the participants of the workshop are the Board of Directors, managers, and experts from various departments, such as: Information Technology Department/GRC Department/Office, Data Analysis Center, Digital Banking Department, Risk Management Department, Internal Audit Department/Office.

The official time of the online workshop is expected to be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on March 27, 2025.

The speakers in the workshop include: Mr. Pho Duc Giang - Deputy General Director - PwC Vietnam Information Security Services Company Limited; Mr. Sau Shiung Yap - Deputy General Director - Malaysia Digital Services Leader; Mr. Tran Minh Quan - Senior Manager - PwC Vietnam Information Security Services Company Limited.

The form of attending the online workshop is via Zoom or Cisco Webex application, with the link sent by VNBA to the email of the attending officers.
