This is a specialized committee under the VNBA's Council, a place to share and promote in-depth knowledge of risk management of member organizations, supporting risk management activities among credit institutions. VNBA currently has a very effective Policy Committee and Technology Committee, which are places to support in solving specialized issues.

Therefore, at this meeting, VNBA listened to the opinions and experiences on risk management of banks, and will also continue to consult and get opinions from other member credit institutions and agencies.

At the meeting, representatives of the banks all agreed with the establishment of the Risk Management Committee. Representatives of MB, Agribank, VietinBank, TPBank, etc. suggested that it is necessary to establish a Preparatory Committee to promote the establishment of the Risk Management Committee with a clear orientation and operational objectives, attracting the attention and support of members, and at the same time calling on all banks to participate enthusiastically.

Mr. Tran Phuong, Deputy General Director of BIDV - Chairman of the Policy Committee, VNBA expressed his agreement with the policy of establishing the Risk Management Committee and said that the Policy Committee is ready to coordinate with the Preparatory Committee in sharing and contributing opinions on operating regulations, procedures, and related documents so that the establishment can be quick and convenient.
