Intensive training courses on 3 new Laws on Land, Housing, Real Estate Business

In order to equip knowledge and remove obstacles for member organizations, in August 2025, the Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA) will host two in-depth online training courses on new regulations of the 2024 Land Law, the 2023 Housing Law and the 2023 Real Estate Business Law.

These are three important laws, effective from August 1, 2024, which are expected to have far-reaching impacts on the real estate market and the operations of credit institutions (CIs), especially in the fields of credit granting and handling of secured assets.

The training program is designed to help CIs promptly update, deeply understand and accurately apply new regulations, thereby managing legal risks and operating effectively. The main contents will focus on analyzing core new points directly related to banking activities such as: regulations on mortgage of land use rights, future housing; conditions for real estate business; capital mobilization for housing projects; and issues on land valuation, certification, etc.

The training courses has the participation of leading experts and managers who are directly involved in the law-making process, including:

- Mr. Nguyen Manh Khoi - Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Development - Ministry of Construction.

- Ms. Doan Thi Thanh My - Deputy Director of the Department of Land - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

- Ms. Hoang Thi Quynh Chi - Director of the Legal Department - Supreme People's Procuracy.

The experts will directly discuss and answer difficulties and problems that credit institutions may encounter in the implementation process.

The course is organized online, creating favorable conditions for staff throughout the system to participate. Credit institutions can choose one of two classes:

- Class 1: August 9-10, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday morning).

- Class 2: August 16-17, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday morning).

Vietnam Banks Association respectfully invites banking staff from CIs (mid and junior level) of relevant departments such as Risk Management, Legal Compliance, Credit, Asset Appraisal... to register to attend to update important and necessary information for work.

    Vietnam’s CPI increases by 0.47% in August 2025 from previous month

    According to the socio-economic report released by the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (under the Ministry of Finance) on the morning of September 3, 2026, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in August 2026 increased by 0.47% as compared with the previous month. The price indices of ten groups of commodities and services increased, while the price index of one group decreased. The CPI rose by 0.47% in urban areas and by 0.46% in rural areas.
