Anti-money laundering for digital asset service providers

On March 12, 2026, the Vietnam Banking Association, in collaboration with Binance, will organize a training program on "Anti-Money Laundering for Digital Asset Service Providers," aiming to raise awareness among digital asset service providers about the risks of money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal activities arising during the provision of services.

The Law on Digital Technology Industry No. 71/2025/QH15 dated June 14, 2025, Decree No. 05/2025/ND-CP dated September 9, 2025 on the pilot implementation of the cryptocurrency market in Vietnam, and Circular No. 27/2025/TT-NHNN dated September 15, 2025 on guiding the implementation of some articles of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Money Laundering have been issued, creating a legal framework to officially regulate activities related to digital assets and cryptocurrencies in Vietnam.

Currently, the digital asset and cryptocurrency market is a market with potential risks and many new forms of money laundering; therefore, effective market management and supervision are necessary.

To raise awareness among digital asset service providers about the risks of money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illegal activities arising during service provision, the Vietnam Banking Association, in collaboration with Binance, is organizing a training program on “Anti-Money Laundering for Digital Asset Service Providers”.
