Under the cooperation framework, Shinhan Bank will contribute its banking expertise and practical experience in corporate lending, while defining business requirements and operational needs and participating in the evaluation and refinement of the solution to ensure alignment with the Bank’s processes and operational standards. Leveraging its expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Fineksi will be responsible for developing, deploying, and optimizing the AI-powered solution to address Shinhan Bank’s practical business requirements.

The cooperation focuses on an AI-powered project for the analysis and assessment of corporate credit, designed to support credit officers in collecting, analyzing, and leveraging data throughout the customer assessment process. By combining Shinhan Bank’s banking expertise and in-depth experience in credit operations with Fineksi’s AI technology capabilities, the two parties aim to develop a solution tailored to the practical needs of banking operations, contributing to greater operational efficiency, streamlined processes, and enhanced support for credit decision-making.

Fineksi previously participated in the Global Shinhan Innoboost 2025 program organized by Shinhan Future’s Lab Vietnam. From the Proof of Concept (PoC) stage, the two parties have worked closely to assess the applicability of the technology in a real-world banking environment and progressively refine the solution for practical deployment. This project goes beyond introducing new technology into existing processes; it also aims to transform how data is processed and leveraged in credit operations, providing employees with more powerful tools to improve work efficiency and enabling them to focus more on value-adding activities that deliver meaningful benefits to customers.

Mr. You Young Wan, Deputy General Director of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, shared:

“Our partnership with Fineksi represents a concrete step forward in Shinhan Bank’s digital transformation and innovation journey in Vietnam. We expect the application of AI to corporate credit analysis and assessment to provide our business teams with more effective tools, while contributing to streamlined processes, enhanced operational efficiency, and improved customer service. By combining Shinhan Bank’s banking expertise with Fineksi’s technological capabilities, we aim to bring practical and relevant technology solutions from the testing stage into real-world application, creating tangible and sustainable value.”

Mr. Wildiyanto Yawin, Founder and Director of Fineksi Company Limited, shared:

“AI is opening up an entirely new approach to the financial and banking industry, but technology can only create real value when it is applied to real-world challenges. For Fineksi, partnering with Shinhan Bank Vietnam provides an opportunity to bring our AI capabilities closer to the realities of banking, while jointly developing solutions that can deliver long-term impact. We believe that when technology and business expertise are connected in the right way, AI can not only help banks work more efficiently, but also unlock entirely new ways of serving customers.”

Following the signing, the project will commence implementation and is expected to officially go live in 2026. Once deployed in a real-world operating environment, the system is expected to deliver significant improvements in the speed, efficiency, and quality of the credit analysis and assessment process, while laying the foundation for expanding AI applications across other banking operations.

This cooperation marks an important milestone in Shinhan Bank’s AI Transformation journey, introducing a new approach to credit operations, contributing to enhanced capabilities in serving corporate customers, and strengthening the Bank’s competitiveness in the digital era.
