Shinhan Bank Introduces K-Study Financial Solution and Career Opportunities at the 2026 Korea Study Abroad & Talent Fair

Ho Chi Minh City, July 7, 2026 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited ("Shinhan Bank") participated in the 2026 Korea Study Abroad & Talent Fair, organized by the Korean Education Center (an affiliated institution of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea) in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City. The event was held on July 4–5, 2026 at Military Zone 7 Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.

As one of the largest and most prestigious annual events dedicated to studying in Korea, the Fair is part of a global series of 15 events organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea across 15 countries to attract highly qualified international talent. Vietnam is one of the key markets, with the Fair being held annually in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

The event brought together 35 leading Korean universities/colleges and over 35 educational institutions, public organizations, Korean enterprises, and organizations operating in the fields of education, finance, and human resource development. It served as a valuable platform for students and parents to access official and up-to-date information on academic programs, scholarships, admission requirements, visa policies, campus life, and career prospects after graduation.

Beyond study abroad consultation, the Fair also aimed to strengthen the connection between education and the labor market through networking activities involving Korean universities and Korean companies operating in Vietnam. These activities provided students with valuable insights into recruitment trends, workforce demands, internship and employment opportunities, as well as the essential skills required to thrive in an international working environment. In addition, Vietnam–Korea networking programs held throughout the event further promoted collaboration among educational institutions, businesses, and organizations from both countries in education and talent development.

As part of its participation, Shinhan Bank operated two dedicated booths, reflecting its commitment to supporting customers throughout both their educational journey and future career development.

At its product showcase booth, Shinhan Bank introduced K-Study, a specialized financial solution designed exclusively for Vietnamese students planning to study in Korea. Offering a range of practical benefits, K-Study supports customers in preparing financial proof documents in accordance with the requirements of the Korean authorities, helping simplify administrative procedures while giving students and parents greater confidence in planning their study abroad finances.

In addition to supporting financial proof requirements, Shinhan Bank's financial advisors provided visitors with personalized consultation on financial solutions tailored to every stage of the study abroad journey—from preparation before departure to studying and living in Korea. Visitors also received guidance on account opening procedures, personal financial management, and banking services designed specifically for international students. Leveraging its extensive network across both Vietnam and Korea, Shinhan Bank is committed to delivering seamless, convenient, and reliable financial services throughout customers' overseas education journey.

Alongside its financial solutions booth, Shinhan Bank also operated a dedicated recruitment and talent development booth, introducing visitors to its working environment, corporate culture, internship and recruitment programs, and career opportunities for students and young professionals. At the booth, the Bank's HR representatives shared insights into career development pathways, the competencies required to succeed in an international banking environment, and opportunities for training and professional growth within the global Shinhan network.

Through these initiatives, Shinhan Bank aims to reinforce its position as a modern financial institution that not only provides comprehensive financial solutions but also serves as a trusted partner for young people throughout their educational and professional journeys. The recruitment activities also form part of the Bank's long-term human resource development strategy, contributing to the cultivation and connection of high-quality talent between Vietnam and Korea.

Throughout the two-day event, Shinhan Bank's booths attracted more than 2,000 visitors, including parents, students, and partners from the education sector. Many visitors actively participated in consultation sessions, learned about the K-Study financial solution, and explored career opportunities with the Bank's recruitment team. The strong level of engagement reflected the growing demand for specialized financial solutions for international students, as well as the increasing interest among Vietnamese youth in pursuing careers within international organizations.

Shinhan Bank's participation in the 2026 Korea Study Abroad & Talent Fair reaffirms its long-term commitment to supporting community development, particularly the growth of Vietnam's younger generation. As one of the leading Korean banks in Vietnam, Shinhan Bank continues to develop specialized financial products and services that meet the evolving needs of customers while actively contributing to educational initiatives, talent development programs, and stronger cooperation between Vietnam and Korea. Looking ahead, the Bank will continue expanding partnerships with universities, educational institutions, and enterprises from both countries to build a comprehensive support ecosystem that empowers Vietnamese students throughout their academic journey, global integration, and long-term career development.
