The launch marks an important milestone in Shinhan Bank’s journey to accompany the small business community, contributing to digital transformation in the retail sector while progressively enhancing modern financial management experiences for small traders and SMEs in Vietnam.
Shinhan Store is built upon So Ban Hang — a sales management application currently serving more than 800,000 household businesses in Vietnam and is further enhanced through the integration of Shinhan Bank’s financial services. The platform offers a comprehensive suite of essential business utilities, including QR code payments, automated order management, revenue and profit/loss reporting, and electronic invoicing. These features enable merchants to effectively control cash flow, optimize daily operations, and gradually professionalize their business activities.
A key highlight of Shinhan Store lies in its seamless connection with Shinhan Bank’s financial ecosystem. Customers can monitor account balance movements in real time for transparent cash flow management while conveniently accessing banking services such as account opening, loan applications, and other financial products — all within a single application.
To deliver an optimal user experience, Shinhan Bank has carefully refined the Shinhan Store interface in accordance with strict banking standards. This ensures not only consistency in brand identity but also the highest levels of security, safety, and reliability for users.
Shinhan Store - A specialized business support application developed for small traders, household businesses, and micro-enterprises (SOHO).
Mr. Ryu Je Eun, Deputy General Director of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, stated: “Shinhan Store is part of Shinhan Bank’s long-term strategy to accompany small merchants, household businesses, and micro enterprises — key drivers of Vietnam’s economy. We believe that providing an integrated platform combining business management and digital financial services will help retailers operate more efficiently, improve cash flow transparency, and access financing more conveniently.
Through our partnership with Finan, Shinhan Bank is not merely introducing a technology application but building a comprehensive financial ecosystem that supports digital transformation in the retail sector and expands financial accessibility for Vietnam’s small business community.”
Mr. Bui Hai Nam, CEO and Co-founder of Finan, shared: “With more than 800,000 household businesses using So Ban Hang, we clearly understand one reality: Vietnamese merchants do not lack entrepreneurial spirit — they lack suitable financial tools. That is why Finan partnered with Shinhan Bank to launch Shinhan Store.
As one of the pioneering applications, small business owners can now manage orders, track revenue, and access banking services — from real-time balance updates to loan registration — all within a single app. We expect Shinhan Store to serve even more merchants and help narrow the digital financial gap for Vietnam’s small business community.”
The launch of Shinhan Store demonstrates Shinhan Bank’s strategic vision of transforming from a traditional financial service provider into a true business partner, delivering user-centric technology solutions that support the sustainable growth of the SOHO business community.
