At the seminar, experts from Shinhan Bank Vietnam's Global Trading Center shared updates on foreign exchange market trends, key factors influencing exchange rates, and actionable insights to help individual clients take a more proactive approach to foreign currency planning—such as pinpointing when foreign currency is required and preparing funds according to a schedule rather than depending on a single purchase timing.

Mr. Jung Hyo Chang, Head of the Global Trading Center at Shinhan Bank Vietnam, noted: "Instead of reacting only when market volatility hits, proactive risk management starting right now will be the key to helping enterprises stabilize business operations and optimize profits. Businesses ought to establish flexible financial plans that integrate multiple exchange rate scenarios so they remain fully equipped with contingency solutions."

Global Trading Center’s expert at the event also exchanged views and provided an overview of developments in the foreign exchange market.

According to Shinhan Bank Vietnam, for individual clients, the bank aims to connect foreign exchange market information directly with practical financial plans such as studying abroad, settlement, overseas remittances, and foreign payment needs. For corporate clients—particularly import-export enterprises and suppliers integrated into the supply chains of FDI corporations—the bank revealed that it is actively developing Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solutions to support capital demands and cash flow for businesses and their supply chain partners, leveraging its established strengths in serving South Korean and FDI companies in Vietnam.

The event provided customers with additional insights to proactively prepare the foreign currency they need in line with their goals and timing.
