Training course "Framework of credit contracts and loan security contracts according to the provisions of the Civil Law"

Vietnam Banking Association (VNBA) will hold the online training course "Framework of credit contracts and loan guaranted contracts according to the provisions of the Civil Law", opening on May 25, 2024.

Currently, credit contracts and loan guaranted contracts are mostly based on the templates prepared by credit institutions thus making asymmetry between the borrowers and the credit institutions.

To gradually standardize and limit risks related to credit contracts and loan guaranted contracts for member organizations, VNBA holds this training course.

Opening time: May 25, 2024.

Attendees: Experienced banking staff, especially credit officers and bank legal officers and other relevant bankers.

Main contents:

- Basic approaches: General legal framework on credit contracts; General legal framework on loan guaranted contracts;

- Specific legal issues in establishing and implementing credit contracts and loan guaranteed contracts: Identification and process for determining loan assets and interest rates in credit contracts; Identification and process for determining secured obligations and collateral assets; Legal mechanism for determining, implementing, and transferring the rights and obligations of the parties in the contract; Civil liability and resolution mechanism upon violation of contractual obligations.
