VNBA delegation visited and worked with UB Group

On March 20, 2025, the delegation of Vietnam Banks Association (VNBA) led by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman cum General Secretary, visited and worked with UB Group Joint Stock Company (UBGroup) - a member of VNBA. The meeting aimed to assess the results achieved and orienting the development strategy in the coming time.

Attending the reception and working session, on behalf of UBGroup, there were Mr. Vu Viet Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director; Ms. Tran Thi Binh Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director; Mr. Pham Van Quan, Deputy General Director and leaders of UBGroup member units.

On behalf of VNBA, there were Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman and General Secretary as well as leaders of the Standing Agency's Boards and units.

Receiving the VNBA delegation, Mr. Vu Viet Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of UBGroup, and leaders of the Boards and units under UBGroup expressed their joy at welcoming the delegation to work. Mr. Hung emphasized that UBGroup is proud to be an active member of the Vietnam Banking Association, and shared an overview of the company's business activities in 2024, as well as its expansion and development plans in 2025.

Mr. Vu Viet Hung said that UBGroup currently has a number of member units including UB Academy and Libra Language & IT Center; Financial Management and Educational Technology Research Institute (FTMI); BCGV Media and Technology Joint Stock Company... These are leading units providing high-quality programs on professional skills training, English instruction, IT education and entrance exam preparation for the banking sector; are reliable and preferred partners in providing social media communication services, policy advocacy campaigns and advanced technology solutions suitable for the banking sector. UBGroup aspires to become a socially responsible enterprise, creating impactful changes through building a comprehensive ecosystem of products and services to support the Vietnamese banking and financial industry.

Mr. Hung also emphasized that UBGroup always strives to bring advanced solutions to the banking and finance industry, meeting the increasing demands of the market. UBGroup strives every day to build a sustainable ecosystem and create positive impacts on society. In particular, in the context of strong digital transformation, UBGroup has invested heavily in technology to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung acknowledged the achievements that UBGroup has achieved in recent times. He highly appreciated UBGroup's efforts in expanding business activities, improving service quality and accompanying the development of the Vietnamese banking system. In particular, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung expressed his impression with UBGroup's plans and strategies for 2025, saying that these are breakthrough orientations that can contribute positively to the overall development of the banking and finance industry.

In addition, the VNBA General Secretary also praised UBGroup for its important role in coordinating with the Vietnam Banking Association to successfully organize 4 sideline competitions in the series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of VNBA. He affirmed that UBGroup is a professional and responsible unit and always accompanies VNBA in common activities. UBGroup has supported VNBA to successfully organize the sideline competitions. UBGroup's contribution has significantly contributed to the overall success of the series of events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of VNBA.
Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung also requested that the Boards and units of the VNBA Standing Office continue to closely coordinate with UBGroup in professional work as well as general activities to support members of the Vietnam Banking Association.
The working session between VNBA and UBGroup took place in a friendly and open atmosphere. The two sides discussed many important issues, including strengthening cooperation in the field of digital transformation, promoting coordination in communication and training, as well as improving the quality of human resources.

UBGroup also expressed its desire to continue accompanying VNBA in upcoming important programs and events, and committed to constantly innovating and improving competitiveness to affirm its position in the market.

At the end of the meeting, representatives of VNBA and UBGroup agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation, exchange information and experience, in order to maximize the potential and strengths of each side, jointly develop and contribute to the sustainable development of the Vietnam Banks Association and the Vietnamese banking industry.
