Shinhan Bank Vietnam and Viglacera Real Estate company signed a strategic partnership agreement

Hanoi, on 24th March 2025 – Shinhan Bank Vietnam Limited (“Shinhan Bank”) Viglacera Real Estate Company (“Viglacera”) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) on 20th March 2025, marking an important milestone in strategy of attracting foreign investors into Vietnam, especially Korean investors.

The signing ceremony has presence of Mr. Ryu Je Eun – Deputy General Director of Shinhan Bank Vietnam, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh – Deputy General Director of Viglacera Corporation cum Director of Viglacera Real Estate Company, and Mr. Ko Tae Yeon – Chairman of Korea Chamber of Business in Vietnam (“KOCHAM”).

Viglacera has long established a close cooperative relationship with the Korean business community. This strategic partnership agreement reflects the joint efforts of Shinhan Bank and Viglacera to enhance the attraction of investment capital from Korea, contributing to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.

Within the framework of agreement, Shinhan Bank shall introduce potential investors in Vietnam and foreign investors from Korea, China, and other that have plans to invest directly into Vietnam, as well as foreign invested companies that need to lease land in industrial parks to Viglacera; coordinate to place Viglacera's marketing materials at all Shinhan Bank’s branches nationwide.

Viglacera shall introduce Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Bank’s diverse product packages, including account packages, loan packages, along with other financial services to company that currently are leasing land in industrial parks developed and operated by Viglacera. At the same time, Viglacera shall be a connecting point between Shinhan Bank and its land tenants who have demand on using financial-banking solutions.

The two parties will jointly organize conferences and forums to promote investment in Vietnam and abroad.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh – Deputy General Director of Viglacera Corporation JSC. cum Director of Viglacera Real Estate Company emphasized: “Viglacera has affirmed its position as the leading industrial park developer in Vietnam with more than 25 years of experience, successfully attracting domestic and foreign investors, especially investors from Korea. We currently have more than 150 customers who are Koreaninvested enterprises. Therefore, the cooperation with Shinhan Bank - the largest Korean bank in Vietnam, marks an important milestone in Viglacera's development strategy. We believe that this cooperation will optimize business value and strongly resonate the advantages of Viglacera and Shinhan Bank, helping both parties improve operational efficiency and increase competency in the market”.

Mr. Ryu Je Eun – the Deputy General Director of Shinhan Bank Vietnam shared: “The partnership between Shinhan Bank and Viglacera is built on trust, respect, and a shared vision for the future. The partnership will focus on providing a comprehensive product and service package from industrial park infrastructure to financial solutions for existing customers of both parties, followed by attracting foreign-invested enterprises, especially Korean-invested enterprises. We believe that the close coordination of expertise, resources, and determination of both sides will take this cooperative relationship further and achieve certain successes in the future.”

In the coming time, the two parties shall focus on promoting cooperation to provide optimal support to foreign-invested enterprises, especially Korean-invested enterprises, while strengthening communication activities to enhance brand awareness and optimize customer experience.
