SBV announces Appointment Decision of Deputy Director General of Payment Department
At the ceremony, the representative of the Human Resources Department announced Decision No. 686/QD-NHNN dated April 10, 2024 of the SBV Governor appointing Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu as Deputy Director General of the Payment Department. Her term of office is five (05) years, starting from the date of appointment. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu was previously Head of the Division of Payment Operations and Digital Banking under the Payment Department.

On behalf of the SBV’s Board of Management and the Personnel Board of the SBV’s Party Committee, Deputy Governor Pham Tien Dzung handed over the SBV Governor’s Appointment Decision to Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu. The Deputy Governor asserted that, in the current context when the banking sector is accelerating the digital transformation, the nature of the work of the Payment Department would require the Department’s officials and staff to improve not only their professional qualifications but also their senses of responsibilities. The Deputy Governor believed that on her new position, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu would continue to leverage on her achievements in the past, as well as constantly develop her capabilities, professional qualifications, together with all of the officials and staff of the Payment Department, to successfully accomplish the assigned tasks,

In her statement of gratitude, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu promised to do her best, together with all of the officials of the Payment Department, to contribute to the development of both the SBV and the banking sector.
