FE CREDIT – A sustainable business committed to social responsibility

Over 14 years of development, FE CREDIT has continuously refined its growth strategies, ensuring a balanced approach between business expansion and environmental and social benefits. Today, FE CREDIT is a pioneer in community-driven initiatives within the consumer finance sector.
To put effort into sustainable community development

Businesses play a vital role in driving economic growth, not only through rising GDP figures but also through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Over 14 years of development in Vietnam, FE CREDIT has consistently been an active participant in community-driven efforts, aligning with sustainable activities that create lasting impacts on local development. These include donating educational equipment, awarding scholarships to underprivileged children, building charity homes, organizing blood donation drives, supporting humanitarian initiatives, and providing warm Tet celebrations for disadvantaged communities. With a commitment to supporting millions across Vietnam, FE CREDIT firmly believes that a sustainable development strategy is a fundamental pillar for long-term business success.

In 2022, FE CREDIT allocated over VND 1 billion to 13 CSR initiatives across various fields, including awarding scholarships to underprivileged students and providing Tet gifts to struggling farmers. That same year, FE CREDIT surpassed all sustainability metrics and successfully attained ESG certification, reaffirming its commitment to stable and sustainable growth.

In 2023, FE CREDIT donated five charity houses to victims of Agent Orange in Bình Lục District, Hà Nam Province, with a total sponsorship value of VND 400 million. Additionally, 54 Tet gift packages were distributed to underprivileged families in Doi Mỹ Khánh Residential Area (Bình Khánh Commune, Cần Giờ District), embodying the spirit of sharing and contributing to a warm and fulfilling Tet celebration.

Continuing its journey of spreading compassion, FE CREDIT will dedicate VND 1.4 billion to CSR activities across Vietnam in 2024, marking its 14th anniversary of establishment and development in the country. Kicking off its 2024 CSR initiatives, FE CREDIT partnered with the television program “Pair of loving leaves” to award scholarships totaling VND 150 million to three underprivileged cases in Ho Chi Minh City. Each scholarship recipient has a unique story filled with challenges, but they all share the same spirit of resilience, a passion for learning, and a determination to change their destiny.

These are the stories of young lives brimming with resilience. Eight-year-old Lê Phúc Bảo and six-year-old Lê Phúc Hưng are siblings currently studying at a charity class run by teacher Huỳnh Ngọc Định of the Lửa Việt Club in Ho Chi Minh City. Then there is Lý Mỹ Duyên, born in 2012, who struggles to make a living by collecting scrap and selling old electronics on the sidewalk, sharing a cramped rental room with her father and sister. Meanwhile, Ngô Trần Nhật Tuấn, born in 2013, bears the weight of caring for his grandmother and uncle, both paralyzed by strokes, all while navigating life with optimism despite his hardships. The scholarships from “Pair of loving leaves” are profound sources of encouragement, instilling faith and optimism in these children and lighting the way toward a brighter future.

Empowering dreams with opportunity and faith

With perseverance and dedication to community activities, many projects implemented by FE CREDIT have successfully connected social resources, spreading positive impact and benefiting both the community and future generations. New homes have been built in remote areas, smiles have spread across faces with the joy of receiving meaningful gifts, and “green shoots” are being nurtured for a brighter future—these are the tangible outcomes of FE CREDIT’s steadfast commitment to the community. “Through these meaningful activities, FE CREDIT aims to contribute to positive changes for those facing difficulties in society while also fostering the development of the communities where we operate,” a representative of FE CREDIT shared.

As part of its commitment to sustainable development alongside the community, FE CREDIT will continue implementing practical activities across various provinces and cities nationwide. From November 2024 to January 2025, FE CREDIT will partner with media agencies and social organizations to award scholarships to underprivileged children in provinces such as Bạc Liêu and Cao Bằng. Through this meaningful journey, FE CREDIT hopes to make each dream come true, spreading joy and optimism for a brighter future for the children’s families and the wider community.

After nearly 14 years of operation, FE CREDIT – a subsidiary of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank), has built a solid foundation and maintained its leading position in the consumer finance sector with over 21,000 retail outlets nationwide and a team of thousands of sales staff. With the motto “Partnering with the community to realize aspirations”, FE CREDIT aims to further contribute to meaningful initiatives while reaffirming its commitment to supporting the community and fostering sustainable development.
