This event marks an important step forward for VNBA in expanding its network, gathering prestigious units operating in the field of credit information, contributing to promoting the transparent and sustainable development of the banking industry. As of August 1, 2025, VNBA has 76 member organizations, representing the banking community and related organizations, including: 64 official members, 11 associate members, 1 honorary member.
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice President and General Secretary of VNBA; Mr. Dang Cong Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KCI; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung, General Director of KCI; Mr. Nguyen Trong Du, Deputy General Director of KCI; Mr. Bui Quang Trung, General Director of FCBV; Mr. Ha Minh Duc, Deputy General Director of FCBV and leaders of departments and units of FCBV, KCI and the standing agency of VNBA.

Granting the Member Certificate
At the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thu Oanh, Head of VNBA Membership Affairs Committee, announced the Decisions No. 56/QD-HHNH and No. 57/QD-HHNH of the VNBA Council to admit FCBV and KCI as official members. Accordingly, KCI and FCBV will have full rights and obligations of official members as prescribed in the VNBA Charter.
The participation of KCI and FCBV is expected to bring profound professional contributions, especially in the context of digital transformation and improving risk management capacity, which are currently the top priorities of the entire banking industry.
KCI was granted a Certificate of Eligibility to Operate by the State Bank of Vietnam on December 31, 2024, aiming to become a leading unit in the field of providing credit information in Vietnam. Since its inception, KCI has signed cooperation agreements with 16 financial institutions and officially launched its products in June 2025. KCI's solutions are diverse, ranging from identity authentication, credit scoring, credit reporting to risk warnings.
FCBV was established on April 13, 2022 and was also licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam on December 31, 2024. With the mission of "bridging trust" on a modern technology platform, FCBV has achieved outstanding achievements such as: Signing agreements with 15 participating organizations; Strategic cooperation with Vietnam Credit Information Company (PCB) to exploit big data warehouse; Strategic cooperation with Agribank to exploit credit data in rural areas; Building modern technical infrastructure, capable of handling over 1,000 accesses per second.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Vietnam Banks Association, on behalf of the Association's Board of Directors, sent warm congratulations to the two new members. He emphasized that, in the context of the banking industry promoting digital transformation and data-based risk management, the role of credit information companies is extremely important. VNBA highly appreciates the potential, development strategy and commitments of KCI and FCBV. He expressed his belief that the two new members will actively participate in the Association's activities, share experiences, join hands to build common standards and provide effective solutions, making practical contributions to the development of the member community. Vice President and General Secretary Nguyen Quoc Hung said that in recent times, the Vietnam Banking Association has effectively implemented many activities to support members, protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with the law, promptly reflect difficulties and problems to the National Assembly, the Government, the State Bank and ministries and branches. The Vietnam Banking Association also organizes meetings, training courses, training, dissemination and experience exchange; organizes events, conferences, seminars, and talks... on issues related to banking activities. In addition, the two media units of the Banking Association, the Electronic News Page (VNBA Website) and the Financial and Monetary Market Magazine, in close coordination with dozens of press and television agencies, have promoted the Association's communication activities, raised the voice of member organizations, and spread the image and products of members more widely and effectively.
TS. Nguyen Quoc Hung affirmed that KCI and FCBV as well as other members in the "common house" VNBA will be fully protected for their legitimate rights and interests as well as listen to, share, and synthesize contributions reflecting the wishes and proposals of members and make recommendations to competent state agencies on issues related to the development of banking activities... In the coming time, with the responsibility of VNBA, we will continue to closely coordinate with the State Bank, state management agencies, ministries, branches, etc. to resolve and handle the difficulties and problems of member organizations.

Also at the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung presented the Decision and Membership Certificate to representatives of FCBV and KCI.
In response to the trust of the Vietnam Banking Association, representatives of the new members made a commitment speech. On the side of FCBV, Mr. Bui Quang Trung - General Director, expressed his honor when the company became a member of the "common house" VNBA. He pledged that FCBV will be a responsible member, proactively contributing expertise, accompanying VNBA and member organizations in promoting the transparent, safe and effective development of the financial market. FCBV will actively share safe and legal information between credit institutions and digital partners; coordinate with VNBA and related units to develop a set of data standards to support multi-dimensional customer information assessment, complying with information security regulations.
Representing KCI, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung affirmed that joining VNBA is an important milestone, recognizing KCI's efforts in the past time. She emphasized that KCI wishes to cooperate closely, listen to the needs of members to continuously improve products, and actively participate in giving opinions and building policies to perfect the national credit information infrastructure, for the common goal of a strong and comprehensive financial system. Ms. Nhung also committed to actively participating in professional activities, training and communication activities to contribute to the development of VNBA. The joining of two prestigious credit information companies promises to strengthen the VNBA member community, together building an increasingly transparent, safe and effective credit ecosystem, contributing to the realization of comprehensive financial goals in Vietnam.
