The issued Circular No. 43/2025/TT-NHNN comprises 22 Articles, amending and supplementing certain regulations of Circular No. 08/2022/TT-NHNN, specifically:
- (i) Amendments to align with the organizational structure, functions, and duties of units under the State Bank of Vietnam following the reorganization as prescribed in Decree No. 26/2025/ND-CP dated February 24, 2025, of the Government defining the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
- (ii) Amendments regarding early intervention in credit institutions and foreign bank branches;
- (iii) Amendments related to changes in the articles of the Law on Credit Institutions 2024;
- (iv) Amendments related to the Government’s Decree No. 26/2014/ND-CP dated April 7, 2014, on the organization and operation of the Banking Inspection and Supervision Agency;
- (v) Amendments related to bank supervision operations.
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2026.
