The MOU signing ceremony between FPT University and the companies within the Shinhan Financial Ecosystem in Vietnam aims to strengthen the connection between education and real-world career practices, creating greater opportunities for students’ future development and practical experience.
This is the second year that Shinhan Bank and subsidiaries in Shinhan financial ecosystem officially collaborated to hold this meaningful event, thereby performing “One Shinhan” bonding spirit in various aspects, from diversified financial product ecosystem development strategy, building unified corporate culture to accompanying young generation on the journey of career orientation and future development.
The event was held at The Mett Tower, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City – the Head Office and “shared building” of subsidiaries in Shinhan financial ecosystem in Vietnam. The event attracted more than 300 attendants, including students from universities, colleges in the field of Finance – Banking in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as senior experts from subsidiaries in the ecosystem.
This is the second year that Shinhan Bank and companies in the Shinhan Financial Ecosystem have officially collaborated to organize the One Shinhan Career event.
At the event, students had the opportunity to meet directly with the recruitment teams from subsidiaries within the Shinhan Financial Group ecosystem in Vietnam and gain a clearer understanding of their recruitment processes. Beyond exchanging information, students could also participate in on-site interviews, opening up opportunities for faster and more effective hiring.
Through this activity, recruitment teams from Shinhan’s subsidiaries were able to introduce students to a professional working environment, diverse job positions, and well-defined career development paths. At the same time, the event provided a valuable opportunity for recruiters to assess and select potential candidates, listen to students’ expectations and career orientations, and foster meaningful connections between individual capabilities and future development opportunities.
At the event, students can also directly participate in Q&A sections with experts in Human Resource field through diverse and highly practical topics, thereby gaining valuable knowledge and valuable experiences when joining in recruitment processes at large and prestigious groups. Besides, students can have opportunities to receive attractive gifts when joining in activities and mini-game at the program.
Specially, within the framework of One Shinhan Career Fair 2025 event, subsidairies in Shinhan financial ecosystem in Vietnam, including: Shinhan Bank, Shinhan Life, Shinhan Securities and Shinhan Finance officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with FPT University, aiming to connect education with career practices and open up development opportunities and practical experiences for students in the future.
Accordingly, subsidiaries in Shinhan financial ecosystem in Vietnam and FPT University will collaborate to implement internship activities, aiming to help students have opportunities to participate in practical topics, projects, enhancing skills and expertise knowledge, as well as organize company tours to promote images, working environment, technology, processes, internship and work opportunities of enteprises to students, especially students entering the specialized stage. At the same time, two parties will collaborate in organizing seminars for enterprises to share knowledge, technologies, soft skills, corporate information (internship, recruitment) to students.
The One Shinhan Career event reflects the “One Shinhan” spirit, demonstrating strong cohesion across all aspects from ecosystem strategy and diversified financial products to unified corporate culture and underscores the commitment to supporting young people in their career orientation and future development.
Subsidiaries in Shinhan financial ecosystem in Vietnam will provide information relate to recruitment, internship of the company for FPT University’s students, as well as organize company tours for students, and provide human resources or speakers for specialized seminars of FPT University. Two parties will coordinate to organize meetings to exchange and introduce new strategies in teaching and recruitment.
From FPT University’s side, the school will also consider recommending students for internship and employment positions at companies based on their current recruitment needs and requirements. The university will support companies in terms of human resources and guest speakers to share insights on new technologies or topics related to students’ study programs. In addition, FPT University will assist with recruitment consulting and introduce practical technologies currently applied in enterprises.
