Currently, the Ministry of Finance is seeking comments on the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises (Draft). It is expected that the content of the draft will affect the activities of VNBA's member organizations.
The Ministry of Finance said that the draft Law aims to institutionalize the viewpoints and policies of the Party and State on developing a socialist-oriented market economy, creating a favorable and safe investment and business environment for enterprises. The draft will also clearly define legislative and regulatory authority, promote digital transformation, and apply information technology in state management.

In addition, the draft also inherits and completes relevant legal provisions, amends contradictions in the Law, creates favorable conditions for investment, production and business, and improves the effectiveness of state management. The legal system will be ensured to be consistent, unified and in line with Vietnam's international commitments.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Finance has drafted the Law to complete the legal framework on the establishment, organization and operation of enterprises, promote development and attract investment in production and business. The goal is to improve the investment and business environment, be safe and transparent, while ensuring urgency, timeliness, synchronization, efficiency and suitability with practical requirements.
Specifically, the Ministry of Finance drafted the Law with 02 Articles, including: Article 1, on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Enterprise Law; Article 2, on implementation provisions. In particular, this Law has the scope of amending and supplementing a number of provisions in the Enterprise Law No. 59/2020/QH14, which has been amended and supplemented by a number of articles under Law No. 03/2022/QH15.
